CYNTHIA VELASCA HAMPTON

TREASURER 

Cynthia is an Accountant at the Los Angeles County Office of Education. She earned her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Phoenix and has been her church treasurer for 12 years. She also facilitates a support group for Ex Jehovah’s Witnesses in California to help them heal from the effects of cult mind control and to refute the Watchtower doctrines.

Cynthia Hampton is a former Jehovah’s Witness who left the cult when she was twenty-four. Two years later, she became a Christian when she realized the Watchtower was a false teacher and a false prophet. Her moment of revelation came when the Watchtower stated that Jesus Christ was only a mediator for 144,000 “anointed” Jehovah’s Witnesses, as the Watchtower teaches that only 144,000 will go to heaven.

Cynthia and her husband, David, currently live in California. They have three grown, married children and three grandchildren.
